Here is what it looks like when you go to the traditional doctors and get their medicine...
It contains God knows what and it has bitter taste when made into the tea mix that you are supposed to drin but it works wonder.

Norway, or I should say Norwegians (in China)

Last week I went to Hangzhou to see my friends Steen & Torun. We haven't met since 2007 so it was of course great fun. Apart from some tourist stuff, 西湖 anyone? we also went to see a tea producer for a meeting. Lots of tea, nice tea, green tea...
Some local food like "beggars chicken", shrimps cooked in tea and "dong po rou" (VERY FATTY meat in sauce) ended a long but fun day.
There is some more photos on my photo site, the address to that one is to the right.

Just taster from the Shanghai F1...

Just 2 short videos shot with my Nikon P5000 to give you an idea how it looks from the grandstands. We were lucky enough (ehem...) to get into some very good seats with a perfect view of the fastest part of the track leading into the slowest corner there is. You also get an idea how wet it was...

Birthday

Yeah, I got older the other day...

We went to a new Japanese restaurant where I finally found one speciality I never had before, raw horse meat. It was VERY tender and full of flavour, it was eaten with radish that gave it a nice blend of flavours.

You can also see some of the sashimi and the barbecued salmon head below.

Cheese and blueberry icecream (WTF?)

The worst thing with this isn't that someone actually invented the flavour, it's that it was a really good one...

Got to love this...

Probably more fun for those of you who has been to China and battled the Chinese love for MSG though...

The spring finally came...

All of a sudden it's t-shirt weather and flowers everywhere.
I guess it's about 2 weeks until I will complain about it being 30 degrees...

Brothers in Arms...

The other day my friend Lars called me and said that Patrick was in his bar and they were both drinking... it didn't take me that long to get my ass over there.

Patrick, the one and only.

Lars, hard at work!

I can lick my beer too...

Still cold, rainy and grey here...

I read the other day in Shanghai Daily that it hasn't rained this much here since 1873.
The article also said it's 20 days without sunshine now, its still around 10 degrees indoors so good thing my fake Simpsons shoes is very warm and nice.
By the way, we have had some hailstorms and thunder too...
